RAIL_Railroad_Carto
Database of Montana railroads created to be accurate according to Railroad companies and Rail in Transportation Planning. BNSF rail line has been GPS'd by BNSF, the remaining railroads were taken from the Rail network data set created by Bureau of Transportation Statistics. The file from BTS was modified slightly to meet MDT needs.
Lines moved for mapping at a scale of 1:2,217,600
Identification and mapping of Montana railroads at a statewide scale.
