Maintenance sections were created to be coincident with county boundary layer, which was digitized at a scale of 24,000 using PLSS, rivers, roads, and/or other Topographic features. The boundaries that are not coincident with the county boundary layer, were on screen digitized using PLSS and from the USGS rastergraphics to be accurate according to maintenance chiefs for each division.
